The Co-op Funeral Home of People's Memorial is a not-for-profit funeral home providing the Greater Seattle area with dignified and affordable burial, cremation, alkaline hydrolysis (aquamation) and natural organic reduction (terramation) services. In 2007, the members of the nonprofit People's Memorial Association voted to open their own funeral home after losing a decades-long partner in Seattle. The Co-op Funeral Home is the nonprofit's model funeral home, demonstrating how we wish all people could be treated as they navigate accessing funeral services in a way that reflects their personal values and resources.
