Willa Howe Rohwer, 84, of Seattle, Washington, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Randy, and her cherished sons, Matt Leahy (wife Mary) and Tom Leahy (wife Irma). Willa was a proud and doting grandmother to Andrew and Casey Leahy. She is preceded in death by her dear brother, Charles, and her loving sisters, Mary and Alice.

Willa was a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School and Stanford University, and she cherished her role as an aunt in her large extended family in Seattle. Professionally she dedicated many years to the Seattle IRS office, retiring in 2003 as a respected senior manager.

In her retirement, Willa embraced life with boundless enthusiasm. She loved the thrill of trips to Las Vegas to play video poker, the serene beauty of Southern France, and the excitement of memorable cruises with her closest friends. Willa had a passion for playing bridge, listening to music, and creating lasting memories with her family. She found immense joy in attending various arts performances and was a devoted fan of the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks. The Seattle Moisture Festival held a special place in her heart, and she especially enjoyed its vibrant performances.

In her later years, Willa faced memory challenges but remained surrounded by the loving community at Echo Lake Adult Family Home. She received exceptional care from the dedicated staff and formed meaningful connections with fellow residents.
