Samantha Price, 26, of Seattle, Washington, passed away on January 20, 2026. Samantha was a thoughtful, inquisitive, and incredibly smart young woman whose quiet curiosity and sharp mind left a lasting impression on those who knew her. Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made will be felt for years to come by her family, friends, and community.
Born on November 5, 1999, Samantha developed a deep love for technology, reading, and coding. She was drawn to classical music, anime, and Japanese culture, and was always interested in learning how things worked. She also loved animals, good food and great coffee or tea, and enjoyed cooking, finding comfort and creativity in the kitchen. Samantha was in the process of discovering more about herself and the direction she wanted her life to take.
Samantha was preceded in death by her mother, Julie Foster, and Samantha is survived by her father, Mark Price; her step-mother, Karen Kitsis; her brother, Joshua Price and his wife Brittany and nephews Lucian and Julian; and her sister, Kiarra Kitsis-Price. She also leaves behind extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
A memorial service will be held on February 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Queen Anne Baptist Church. All who knew Samantha are welcome to attend and honor her life. Samantha’s curiosity, intelligence, and love for others will be remembered by those who knew her.
In honor of Samantha, the family asks that donations be made to The Trevor Project, an organization dedicated to supporting LGBTQ young people in crisis.https://www.thetrevorproject.org/
