Richard Yowson

With a deep, heavy sadness I share the passing of my brother, Richard Yowson. Richard was born November 10,1961 and passed January 4, 2026.

Growing up in the Philippines, we shared laughter and music with our neighborhood friends. In 1969 we moved to the United States. We shared a love of music with our siblings. Throughout middle school we learned to dance together watching American Bandstand. Richard continued on to become the best dancer in our highschool.

Parts of life were difficult. Making friends was easy for Richard due to his kind, direct nature and sense of humor. Thank you to the folks at the Lyon building for the kindness shared.

Our sister has also passed, they will be deeply missed by their sister, brother, parents and family.

You are much loved. Keep dancing filled with and surrounded by joy and love.
