Prosie Caguin, 92, passed away on October 4, 2026, at an adult family home in Burien, Washington, where she received excellent care. Her daughters, Ana and Bebet, were at her side. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the caregivers who cared for her with such kindness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Caguin. Prosie will be laid to rest in Missouri alongside her beloved husband, Mike. A service honoring them will be held once they are reunited, and details will be shared later.
Family was at the heart of everything she did. She devoted much of her life to caring for her children, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, always doing whatever she could to keep everyone close and connected. She was the person her family could turn to for love, encouragement, comfort, and support.
She gave of herself freely and often went without so that someone she loved could have what they needed. Her happiness came from seeing the people around her happy, cared for, and loved.
A devout Catholic, Prosie drew strength from her faith throughout her life. She loved to travel and see new places, and she treasured time with friends and family, whether near home or far away.
She was also a true friend, a friend's friend. Loyal, compassionate, and always willing to listen or lend a helping hand, she made people feel they mattered. Her love, generosity, and devotion touched many lives, and the family she worked so hard to hold together will forever be part of her beautiful legacy.
