Patricia Anne Jaeger Quinn

January 10, 1952 — April 16, 2026

Patricia Anne Quinn (née Jaeger), known as Patti to her family and friends, passed away peacefully on April 16th, 2026, peacefully after a long period of illness.

Patti was born in Seattle, January 10th, 1952 to Lorrayne and Peter Jaeger. The second youngest of four siblings, Marilyn, David, and Debbie Jaeger, she grew up in a close-knit family that valued learning, outdoor fun, and the natural environment. She attended Blanchet High School where she met her lifelong best friend Mary Pearson. After completing BA and MA degrees in speech pathology at the University of Washington, she married and had the first of her three beloved children.

Her ambition and tenacity led to a successful career in pharmaceutical sales. While balancing the demands of parenting, she won several awards for being the top salesperson in her area, her favorite of which was a two-week trip to Moscow, Russia, reflecting her love of travel and discovery.

She married her second husband and love of her life, Craig Quinn, in 1992 and together, they embraced the blending of their two families. They bought a minivan and built a new addition to Patti’s split-level in Bothell so Patti’s children and Craig’s two sons could live and travel as a group. As devoted parents, they enjoyed lively family dinners, outings and vacations and it was important to them to maintain these close connections even as the children grew and left home to follow their own life paths.

Patti took great joy in appreciating and cultivating the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She spent countless hours on walks in her favorite parks and tending to the flowers, herbs, and vegetables she grew in her gardens. She cared deeply about veteran’s issues and volunteered her time with the USO and the Soldier’s Project.

She is survived by her sisters Marilyn Veomett and Debbie Knaub, her children Emily Sogn, David Sogn, and Danny Sogn, her stepsons Scott Quinn, and Stuart Quinn, and five grandchildren, Indiana Sogn, Wyatt Sogn, Presley Sogn McKeown, Calvin Quinn, and Gordon Quinn.

There will be a celebration of life for Patti on Monday, April 27th, 1 PM - 5 PM at Mt Baker Community Center in Seattle, Washington. A light lunch and drinks will be served. There will be a livestream of the event for those who would like to join remotely.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Neurosciences Institute Fund at the University of Washington Medical Center
