Mary served important roles in bringing the 1984 World Bridge Olympiad to Seattle, as well as the 1993 Bridge Nationals. She also served important roles in the governance of the Seattle Bridge Unit and the ACBL’s Regional District.
Mary loved her family, traveling to near and far destinations, hosting bridge and Uno parties, gardening, donating to charity, was a loving pet mom to numerous cats and dogs over the years, and an avid UW Husky Women’s Basketball fan. Mary was a voracious reader and a follower of current events. Mary’s many relatives and friends were always in her thoughts.
