Marsha Watson Mulder, age 84, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, in Seattle, Washington, surrounded by family.
Marsha was born on March 20,1941, in Valparaiso, Florida to Albert and Bernice Watson. She graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 1959. In 1963, she graduated from Mather School of Nursing in New Orleans and later that year married James Mulder. They raised two children and enjoyed 32 happy years together. Marsha worked as a registered nurse for over 30 years in Ft. Walton Beach, Panama City, and Gainesville. She found great satisfaction in her work in the operating room, helping patients and families through surgery.
Marsha was known for her warm and charming smile as well as her wickedly fast wit. She was a Master Gardener, an avid reader, and dedicated volunteer at the United Methodist Church in Niceville and Panama City. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel in Alaska, Africa, South America, China and many other places. She loved cooking and trying new recipes. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and friend; always providing comfort, care and support whenever needed.
Marsha is survived by her two children, Lisa Gorey (Duane), Matthew Mulder (Annabelle); sister, Sandra Bond (Edwin); and four grandchildren, Mackenzie, Emily, Owen and Cameron. She was preceded in death by her dear husband James Mulder.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels in your local area.
