Lloyd Martin Young

Lloyd Young passed away on July 6. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda Young; daughter Tamara Young and son-in-law Rick Deyo; daughter Kelly Young Bartlett and son-in-law Erik Bartlett; granddaughter Isabella Bartlett; their dog Sadie; and Lloyd's sister, Diane Hinze.

Lloyd was a proud IBEW Local 46 union member since 1969 and spent his career at Ewing Electric before taking early retirement at 55. Even after retiring, Lloyd continued to help family members, friends, and businesses with electrical work. He spent a lot of his retirement enjoying time at their cabin at Lake Cushman, fishing and spending time in their boat on the lake. He also made many trips to Sun Valley, Idaho to relax and enjoy the mountains.

Lloyd was also a Covid survivor, being one of the first to leave the ICU at Swedish hospital in 2020.

A celebration of Lloyd's life will be held upstairs at the Ballard Elks Club, (6411 Seaview Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107) on October 10th, 12-4pm.
