Jeanette Bass

My mom is 7th of 18 children from Oklahoma City. Some of her fondest memories from childhood include playing with her siblings.

After high school Jeanette met Godfrey at the circus where he operated the merry-go-round. They were married for 50 years.

They raised their son Stanley in south Seattle area. Jeanette worked for 45 years as a meat packer for the QFC grocery company, at various locations. Godfrey worked for Northwest Airlines and a brief time Delta after their merger.

She enjoyed the ‘perks’ of her husband’s airline employment, traveling to Europe and many North American destinations.

In retirement, both Godfrey and Jeanette continued to travel North America.

She enjoyed listening to music and spending time outdoors.
