1935 Elnora 2025

Elnora Louise Carr

October 20, 1935 — October 30, 2025

Elnora Louise (Littleton) Carr of Lynnwood, WA, passed away peacefully October 30, 2025, at the age of 90 with her daughter, Carolyn, at her bedside in Swedish Hospital in Edmonds, WA. Elnora was born on October 20, 1935, to Sam and Beulah (Hall) Littleton in Oakesdale, Washington.

Elnora grew up on a farm near Oakesdale. During her high school years she was voted Miss Oakesdale and went on to be voted Miss Whitman County. After high school Elnora worked for the Washington Water Power Company and the telephone company in Spokane where she met her future husband, Clifford (Corky) Carr. In 1957 Elnora and Corky married and moved to the Seattle area. They went on to have four children.  After her children grew up she started to work for Stevens Hospital in Edmonds in the housekeeping department. She worked there for twenty years and volunteered for an additional six years after her retirement.

Elnora was a dedicated and loving homemaker and mother who loved gardening, the Mariners, family, friends and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband Corky, sons Craig and Bert and daughter Deanna. Also, sisters Ruth Johann, Grace Rohrbach, Nina Gregory and her brother Jim Littleton. Despite the heartbreak of losing so many loved ones, Elnora remained strong.

She is survived by her daughter Carolyn, sister Sammie Day, brother Ed Littleton (Eunice), and many nephews and nieces.

The last few years of her life were blessed by her loving and steadfast companion Keith Wollen. Keith and Elnora had a wonderful relationship…. loving, supporting and enjoying each other right up to Elnora’s passing.

Also, it should be noted that, after losing her daughter Deanna, over ten years ago, many of Deanna’s friends stepped forward and graciously looked after Elnora in many ways and continued throughout the years. Their friendship and support meant the world to Elnora.

A dedication of life service will take place in the Spring of 2026.
