The father of two beautiful children, Lisamari Emery and William Eric Emery, and the brother of two wonderful sisters, Nancy Emery and Linda St. Clair...
David was a graduate of the University of Washington, a proud member of the United States Army, and a lifelong supporter of those who have served their country. David spent his early years and much of his later life in his beloved city of Philadelphia. In 2022 David moved back to Seattle to be near his family and share his many stories of his life and times enjoying jazz, football, a good bourbon, and adventures on his beloved trains. David passed peacefully on May 7 with his children close and the jazz playing.
••• ALSO REMEMBERING •••
The unforgettable and much loved train station he designed and created… complete with tracks winding through hills, valleys and small townships with big “pick-up arms” for outgoing and incoming mail and packages, complete with appropriate switches, lighting and other railroad apparatus and necessities… All done in the basement of the Family Home in Seattle, WA. Yes, David loved trains and all they represented…. may his train ride to heaven be as peaceful and exciting as the floating clouds….
We encourage any stories of Dave you'd like to share!
