Daughter of Samuel Frederick and Ida Belle Johnson.
A long-time Seattle resident, she was a lover of art and classical music, especially opera, a regular attendee of The Seattle Opera and Seattle Repertory Theatre in the 1960s and 1970s, an enthusiastic golfer, and a woman of style. She traveled to various parts of the US, Europe, Japan, and South America with her husband. She made her career as a nurse in a private clinic, retiring in the early 1980s. Survived by a daughter, JoLynn Edwards and son-in-law, Hal N. Opperman. In loving memory.
