Alberto T. Youngblood

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alberto T. Youngblood of Seattle, Washington, on October 2, 2025, at 7:00 AM. He is survived by his siblings, Edward Youngblood, brother and Julietta Youngblood, sister-in-law and his two nephews, Edison Youngblood and Christopher Youngblood, of Hurst, TX. Claudia L. Trainum, sister of Killeen, TX.

Alberto was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, on October 21, 1975, the youngest of three children to Chester E. and Blanca D. Youngblood, both of whom preceded him in death in 2023. He graduated from Killeen High School in 1993 with honors and subsequently earned a Computer Science degree, with a Minor in Sociology, and completed additional coursework at The University of Texas at Austin, Texas State University as well as Rice University. He later pursued a Master's degree in Information Management from the University of Washington, specializing in human and computer interaction, which he completed in 2009. During his graduation, he received the "Faculty Award" for academic excellence, an honor bestowed upon only one student annually. His professional career included roles at Bing, Microsoft, Dell, Phillips, and most recently, Meta, where he served as a Senior UX Researcher specializing in Mixed Method AI Interaction.

Alberto will be remembered with fondness as a devoted son, brother, uncle, colleague, and friend. His presence will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace!
